Event Recap: Awareness Ride & Mountain Biking Workshop – “Together Against Addiction”

On October 26th, CAOS, in collaboration with Freedom Rehab Centre, proudly hosted an impactful Awareness Ride and Mountain Biking Workshop under the theme “Together Against Addiction.” The initiative aimed to raise awareness about addiction, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster community support for those affected by addiction.

Event Highlights

Starting Point: The event kicked off at 8:00 AM from MG Marg, a central location that allowed participants from all walks of life to join and spread awareness throughout the city.
Awareness Ride: Participants embarked on an exhilarating cycling journey through scenic routes, attracting attention and encouraging onlookers to reflect on the significance of mental and physical health in combating addiction.
Destination: The ride concluded at Tathangchen, where the second phase of the event commenced – a hands-on Mountain Biking Workshop.
Mountain Biking Workshop: Led by Brinda Mohan Subba, the esteemed Technical Head of CAOS, the workshop offered participants insights into the fundamentals of mountain biking, along with practical tips to navigate challenging terrains safely and effectively. Brinda’s expertise and passion for the sport inspired both newcomers and seasoned riders alike, emphasizing how sports and outdoor activities can serve as positive outlets in overcoming challenges.
