The Cycling Association of Sikkim successfully organized its 2nd calendar event, The Gangtok Loop 2.0, on 24th August 2025.

The challenging competition covered a total distance of 43 kilometers and witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 42 riders representing Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and neighboring regions including Darjeeling and Kalimpong.

🥇 1st – Mohit Singh (Indian Army)
🥈 2nd – Anush Sherpa (Gangtok)
🥉 3rd – Tajum Dere (Arunachal Pradesh)

Masters 35+ Category
🥇 1st – Dibyan Rai
🥈 2nd – Sonam Topden Bhutia
🥉 3rd – Nyindo Lepcha

The event also highlighted the spirit of inclusivity and determination, as it featured a lone yet fearless female participant, Ms. Tsultrim Palmo Bhutia, who showcased remarkable grit on the demanding course.

Adding further encouragement to the next generation of cyclists, the Chief Guest of the event presented cash prizes to the three youngest riders of the competition.
